何为学生主导会议?


What is student-led conference?



学生主导会议(SLC)是PYP小学项目在幼儿园阶段学期报告的一种形式,涉及家长、学生和教师,彼此互为合作伙伴,这体现华外PIEP爱培幼儿园IB学习者社区的价值观。学生主导会议有别于传统的家长会模式,而是由学生和家长共同参加。在会议过程中,由学生们自己跟父母讲解自己在探究单元中的作品以展示在不同的学习情境中获得的理解,分享自己的进步,同时也会反思自己需要改进的领域,锻炼沟通、社交和自我管理能力的一种评估学生学习过程的形式。


Student Led Conference (SLC) is a form of unit report advocated by of PYP primary school project. It involves parents, students, and teachers. They are partners with each other, which reflects the IB learner community values of PIEP kindergarten. The student led meeting is different from the traditional parent meeting mode, which is jointly attended by students and parents. During the meeting, students will explain their works in the inquiry unit to their parents to show their understanding in different learning situations and share their own progress. At the same time, they will reflect on their areas for improvement and exercise their communication, social and self-management abilities. This is a form of evaluating students' learning process.

孩子从小培养对自己学业负责的意识,通过各种不同的学习情境来展示他们的理解力,展现反馈他们学习和成长的作品等。


From childhood, children develop a sense of responsibility for their studies, show their understanding through various learning situations, and show feedback on their learning and growing works.


在学生主导的会议中,教师的角色是支持者,学生是主导者。

家长在学生主导会议中的角色是:

倾听者:认真倾听孩子展示在PIEP学习社区的工作和取得;

支持者:和孩子交流孩子正在从事的工作,并给予肯定和鼓励;

反思者:和孩子一起反思,如何支持他们实现目标,并促进他们在家学习。


In the student led conference, the teacher's role is the supporter, and the student is the leader.

The role of parents in student led meetings is:

Listeners: listen carefully to children's work and achievements in the PIEP learning community;

Supporters: communicate with the children regarding what they are doing and give them affirmation and encouragement;

Reflective: reflect with children on how to support them to achieve their goals and promote their learning at home.

主导权:我们为什么学、学什么以及学得怎么样;学习者设定自己的目标并获得支持进行反思

选择权:拥有自己的失败和成功;发展自信和增加兴趣


Voice: encourage and respect opinions; respect children's voice; learners make decisions

Dominance: why we learn, what we learn, and how we learn; learners set their own goals and get support for reflection

Options: own your failures and successes; develop self-confidence and interest

让孩子真正成为学习的主人

顺应孩子们的好奇心,尊重他们的兴趣和需求,帮助他们创设活动的环境,使孩子们通过自主学习、自主探究、自主实践,培养独立学习的习惯。

在本学期的学生主导会议活动中,我们把主导权交给孩子们,由孩子们负责主导整个会议,向家长们展示他们在语言、数学、英语、体能等核心课程以及专业课程所学习到的知识,展示了在IB教育理念下孩子们取得卓越成长。


We should comply with children's curiosity, respect their interests and needs, and help them create an active environment, so that children can cultivate the habit of independent learning through independent thought, independent inquiry and independent practice.

In this semester's student led conference activities, we give the leadership to the children, and the children are responsible for leading the whole meeting, showing parents the knowledge they have learned in core courses such as bilingual immersion, mathematics, inquiry, physical health, and other professional courses, and demonstrating the remarkable growth of children under the concept of IB education.






换位思考,真正了解孩子学习

Empathetic, understanding of children's learning


IB理念一直强调尊重教育,在本次的学生主导会议上,借助不同的学习情境,让家长有机会体验孩子们的学习经验。孩子们也在活动中反思自己一单元学到了什么以及如何学习、分析自身的成功和不足、确立自身的学习目标等等。同时,锻炼了孩子们的交流、组织和沟通技能,家长也由此能够更加清楚、深入地了解自己孩子的学习情况。家长们也首次站在孩子的角度,用心体会着他们的学习成果及学习需要,他们能对孩子的学习给予更适当的支持。

IB concept has always emphasized respectful education. In this student led meeting, parents have the opportunity to experience their children's learning experience with the help of different learning situations. Children also reflect on what they have learned in a unit, and how to learn and analyze their own successes and shortcomings, as well as establish their own learning goals. At the same time, the training of children's communication, organization and communication skills, so that parents can more clearly understand their children's individual learning situation. Parents are also for the first time standing in the children's perspective, to experience their learning achievements and learning needs, they can give more appropriate support to their children's learning.

学生主导会议是IB PYP学习旅程中必不可少的一部分,使孩子们能够实践PYP全人发展的学习者的特质。孩子们自我肯定、总结、反思,在学习方法的选择上会更为思辨,并为能与父母分享自己的心得和挑战而感到自豪。


Student Led Conferencing is an indispensable part of the PYP learning journey, enabling children to practice the characteristics of learners with PYP holistic development. Children affirm, summarize and reflect on themselves. They are more critical in the choice of learning methods, and are proud to share their experiences and challenges with their parents. 


家长作为学生主导会议的参与者,更深入地了解自己孩子的学习情况,关注孩子的成长。这种形式的会议有助于在家庭和学校之间建立一种独特的伙伴关系,并成为一个庆祝孩子学习成果的珍贵时刻。


As the participants of Student Led Conference, parents have a deeper understanding of their children's learning situation and pay greater attention to their children's growth. This form of meeting helps to build a unique partnership between the family and the school and becomes a valuable time to celebrate the results of children's growth.
